What's In The Bag?

My mom is an expert in handling emergencies! When I was a kid, she and my dad were interested in survivalism, canoeing, backpacking and camping in New York State. Later, my mother was in charge of a house for people with disabilities, and always needed to know how to handle literally...anything! Later, she became both a CPR instructor and a crisis counselor for people having emotional crises. I think that is part of the reason why people often tell me I am brave- my mom and my dad expected no less!

I remember my mother having a backpack in the back of the car when I was small. Inside the backpack was every imaginable first aid supply. Recently, I have become more interested in being Prepared With A Capital P. Look what my mom made for my birthday! I am SO super excited about this gift! Oh, what a lovely bag! That would be gift enough.

Look what is inside...

The Ultimate First Aid Kit!
When I was thanking my mom for this awesome gift, I said,"They must have thought you were crazy at the drugstore!" And she, always knowing exactly what to do, said," No. I bought in small quantities in multiple stores." My mom is McGiver.

Love and light,
Your friend,
Hil

  1. You and your mom should offer those for sale. Not kidding.

  2. A first aid/survival kit was my next guess, but I wouldn't have thought to add tin foil and plastic wrap, both of them are wonderful additions! ~LA
